Privacy Policy for Fluently

  Fluently ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Fluently mobile          

  application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and

  protect your information.                                             

  Information We Collect                                              

  Usage Data: We collect information about how you use the app,         

  including lessons completed, quiz scores, streak data, and language

  preferences. This data is stored locally on your device.              

  Voice Data: When you use the voice conversation feature, your audio is

   sent to OpenAI's Whisper API for transcription. We do not store your

  audio recordings. Transcriptions are used only during the active      

  conversation session.                                     

  AI Interactions: Your conversation text is sent to OpenAI's API to    

  generate language coaching responses. We do not store conversation

  history on our servers.                                               

  Screen Time Data: If you enable app blocking, Fluently uses Apple's   

  Screen Time API (FamilyControls framework) to manage app access on

  your device. App selection data is stored locally on your device and

  is never transmitted to our servers.                      

  How We Use Your Information

  - To provide and improve the language learning experience             

  - To track your progress and adapt lesson difficulty

  - To manage app blocking schedules you configure                      

  - To process subscription payments through Apple                      

  Data Storage                                                          

  All user data (progress, preferences, vocabulary) is stored locally on

   your device using AsyncStorage. We do not operate backend servers or

  cloud databases that store your personal data.                        

  Third-Party Services                                                

  - OpenAI: Processes voice transcription and generates AI responses.   

  Subject to OpenAI's privacy policy.

  - Apple: Processes in-app purchases and manages Screen Time features.

  Subject to Apple's privacy policy.                                    

  - RevenueCat: Manages subscription status. Subject to RevenueCat's

  privacy policy.                                                       

  Children's Privacy                                                    

  Fluently is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly    

  collect personal information from children under 13.

  Data Deletion                                             

  Since all data is stored locally on your device, you can delete all   

  Fluently data by deleting the app or using the "Reset onboarding"

  feature in Settings.                                                  

  Changes to This Policy                                              

  We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify

  you of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date.
